Meridian Taxation Services Ltd, led by E Jane Cochrane MA ACA, commenced in 1997.

We offer a complete taxation service for individuals and small businesses from Self-Assessment Tax Returns including property lettings, sole trade and Capital Gains Tax schedules through to Partnership Returns, Corporation Tax returns, VAT and Companies House annual returns and Capital Taxes advice.

Assistance with accounts, book-keeping services and payroll is available where required, although we may outsource these to another company with whom we have built up a good working relationship and who are known to be efficient and cost effective.

We can assist with all aspects of setting up your own company from start-up to continuing support through the development of your company.

Meridian Taxation Services Ltd has specialist knowledge in Mariner's Taxation including Seafarer's Earnings Deduction and calculations of dates for a Seafarer's Allowance claim together with Mariner's National Insurance. We also provide support and assistance for UK non-residents.

Since 1997 we have continued to expand and now employ five people who, between us, can provide advice on all of the above.

We are located in the city of Exeter by the Clock Tower and are close to two main line railway stations (Exeter Central - 5 minutes walk or Exeter, St Davids - 10 minutes walk) and a public car park is 2 minutes walk away off Queen Street.

As many clients have limited time available we provide the majority of advice by email or telephone. However, appointments can be made by contacting us between 10 am and 4pm Monday to Friday if required.
